All is not so rockin’ in AC/DC world. Guitarist Angus Young is the last man standing after his brother Malcolm and longtime bassist Cliff Williams retired, drummer Phil Rudd was arrested in New Zealand for hiring a hitman and singer Brian Johnson had to quit due to hearing loss. While the band might be losing steam, songs like “Back in Black,” “T.N.T.” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” never lose their saucy charm, which helps explain the ongoing popularity of all-girl tribute band Hell’s Belles. Led by guitarist Adrian Conner in the Angus role (complete with schoolboy costume and show-long striptease) and fronted by Aussie belter Amber Saxon, Hell’s Belles deliver a fun, raucous night out every time they hit the stage. And AC/DC fans need them now, more than ever.
