Downtown Coeur d'Alene -- Santa is available for photos with the pooch at the Coeur d'Alene PetCo on Dec. 6 from noon-4 pm. He'll be ready for more photos on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20 from noon-4 pm at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Plaza Shops. Cost varies. Call: (208) 771-1814





Palouse Mall 1850 W. Pullman Rd., Moscow, Idaho -- See Ol' St. Nick arrive on Nov. 28 at 1 pm. Photo packages with Santa range from $15-$35, and continue through Dec. 24. Call: (208) 882-8893





Cutter Theatre 302 Park St., Metaline Falls, Wash. -- Come watch Santa arrive for the holiday season atop a fire engine on Dec. 5 at 6 pm. Then hang out with him all day on Dec. 6 from 10 am-3 pm. The festivities will start with pictures with Santa until 2 pm. A workshop story time will begin at 2:15 pm, and continue for the remainder of the day. Call: (509) 446-4108





Eastside Marketplace 1420 S. Blaine Ave., Moscow, Idaho. -- Soak up the holiday spirit during the marketplace's "Home for the Holidays" celebration on Dec. 20 from 10 am-1 pm. NorthTown Mall Division and Wellesley Ave. -- Pose for a picture with Kris Kringle now through Dec. 24. The man in red is available for photos through Thanksgiving on Mondays-Saturdays from 11 am-8 pm and on Sundays from 11 am-7 pm; after Thanksgiving, on Mondays-Saturdays from 10 am-9 pm and on Sunday from 11 am-7 pm. Silver Lake Mall 200 W. Hanley Ave., Coeur d'Alene -- Santa will touch down on the Silver Lake Mall on Nov. 28 and will be available for photos on Nov. 28-30, Dec. 5-7 and Dec. 12-24. He's available on Mondays-Fridays from 11 am-8 pm, on Saturdays from 10 am-8pm, and on Sundays from 11 am-7 pm. A free breakfast with Santa will be served on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 8 am-11 am. River Park Square Main Ave. and Wall St. -- Kids can participate in this year's holiday extravaganza on Nov. 28 at 8:30 am. The fun starts out with a kids' parade open to everyone, and continues as the Cat in the Hat magically reveals Santa Claus himself. Afterward, Santa will switch on the mall's 50-foot tree.
