    Junger combines history, psychology, and anthropology as he explores what tribal societies can teach us about loyalty, belonging, and humanity's eternal quest to find meaning. He explains the irony that war feels better than peace, that adversity can turn into a blessing, and that disasters are more often more fondly remembered than the good moments in life. Tribe explains why humans are stronger when we come together and how we can achieve that in our presently divided world. 208-292-2359

    Join Honduran journalist, artist, and documentary filmmaker Jennifer Ávila, co-founder of Contra Corriente, a multimedia, youth and women-led media platform, for her Witness for Peace Tour, "The Silencing of Dissent: How reedom of the Press is Threatened in Honduras." Ms. Ávila has been a critical player in the resistance to the illegal, U.S.-supported re-election of President Juan Orlando Hernández in 2017 and the crimes against humanity committed by his regime in the wake of the election. 208-292-2359

    Unity Day

    Come together in one giant message of hope and support by wearing the color orange to visibly showing that our society believes that no child should ever experience bullying. Local students are acknowledged for their exemplary projects promoting a uniting for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion against bullying. These works will be showcased as an exhibit to celebrate Unity Day. 208-292-2359

    Celebrate human rights and all the support the community gives us. This day is dedicated to recognizing and appreciating the generosity of HREI donors, who make its mission achievable. A celebration is planned to start in the afternoon. 208-292-2359
