Although I really do love that this man did this run and placed every flag..... It makes me sad that my "late" husband was not included. He was killed in Baghdad, Iraq on November 6th, 2006 as a result of an IED and small arms fire. He was originally from White Swan, Washington but resided in Moses Lake, Washington in the 5 years proceeding his death. I would really hope to think that no "one" soldier was left out. It could have been a simple overlook due to the 4,424 flags to bear names. Simple overlook or not, It makes me feel like his memory is drifting away and he will soon be forgotten. This simple overlook has weighed heavy on my heart! To honor him, I will.....
