Inequality for All

In a benefit event for Second Harvest Food Bank, the Smith-Barbieri Progressive Fund, a local charitable foundation, hosts a screening of the award-winning documentary Inequality for All. The film outlines a widening gap in income inequality in the U.S. through interviews with economists, politicians and experts, former labor secretary Robert Reich being one of them. “We need to raise awareness in the community, and more than raising money, we need to get people active about this,” says event organizer Ron Reed. There will be a panel discussion immediately following the screening about how to alleviate inequality in our own community.
