Intervention

The Prichard Art Gallery is featuring work from University of Idaho Master of Fine Arts candidates Katrina Fekkes and Kelsey Grafton from the College of Art and Architecture. Students’ mediums include video, ceramics and multimedia sculptures. Fekkes, who grew up outside of Spokane, creates autobiographical works in a wide range of media to create open narratives about struggles and triumphs found within ordinary life. Grafton, formerly exhibit coordinator at Lewis-Clark State College’s Center for Arts and History, is a Lewis-Clark Valley native. Her work weaves together ceramic, found objects and performance into allegories reflecting our interconnected relationship with natural resources. Through May 23. Closing reception May 21 from 5-8 pm. Gallery open Thu-Sat 10 am-8 pm; Sun 10 am-6 pm.
