Wildlife artist James Reid started his art career out of high school in advertising and sign painting for a drugstore company. But in his spare time he studied intensely the fine arts, emerging as a skillful and talented painter of Western scenes and animals. For 32 years the Boise artist has been taking his reference images from Yellowstone, Glacier and Teton parks, and the world he paints is a fusion of magic and adventure. Through July 24; Mon-Fri from 9 am-6 pm.
