Re: “Blood Sport

Not every person can pay to see a baseball game. Some people don´t have the luxery of having a tight nit family like you seem to have. There seems to be a lot you don´t understand about Spokane and how different parts of it really are, and how different people´s situations are.

Re: “Blood Sport

I am someone who personally knows one of the wreastlers and also many of the people who work at the Inlander. The Inlander tries to write articles like this that will spark opinion and show off more than the poster happy city that Spokane is. It´s not a waste of space, time or paper. I would also like to say that I would much rather read about S.A.W., an activity that these guys enjoy participating in and is not illegal or majorly harmful to others but themselves, instead of reading about gang violence that man other cities have a major problem with. I admire these competators for finding an outlet other than violence or drugs in an illegal and more dangerous setting. Those of you critizing this sport should sit and have a conversation with one of these wreastlers and you´ll understand just how much they have been through. As far as medical and tax money, I pay taxes and have a full time job which does not have any medical benefits. These are not the people I would worry about ruining the system. Before you start talking crap about people and an organization you should know more about them then just one article opinionist´s opinion and voice.

Most of the photos in the article are not Young. They are from the free lance photographer that the Inlander hired. (And yes I know this due to having connections at the Inlander and those that work there).
