Students in grades 4-8 are welcome to explore the world of coding. Youth are exposed to a core concept of coding - variables, conditionals, functions, or functions with parameters - and empowered to explore these concepts at their own pace in Scratch. Concepts explored rotate each month. A lesson on the topic is provided every half hour during the program (at 12:30, 1, 1:30, and 2). Once youth have gotten the lesson, they will be assigned a computer to start coding. Fourth Saturday of the month from 12:30-2:30 pm.
