Kids Intermediate Blacksmithing Class

A session intended for young smiths who have some hammering experience. Students will make “patch knives” of the sort that black powder enthusiasts use to cut the patches they use in loading and cleaning their rifles. The knives will be hardened and tempered, but will NOT be sharp at the end of the class. Steve will demonstrate how to sharpen them, so (with parental supervision) students can sharpen them at home. 4 slots available for each session.
