Local Meets Global

Feast World Kitchen, the fledgling nonprofit kitchen in Spokane serving as a starting point for immigrant and refugee chefs to share their cultures’ flavors, is hosting a creative fundraiser. A celebratory dinner pairs three respected local chefs each with one of Feast’s international chefs to create a collaborative course. Selam Tadesse of Eritrea is cooking with chef Tony Brown, Maisa Abudayha of Jordan is partnering with chef Adam Hegsted and Abou Kourouma of Senegal is working with chef Chad White. The meal includes appetizers, desserts, Townshend Cellars wine and Iron Goat Brewing beer. Feast World Kitchen is currently in its first phase, operating as a catering kitchen. This event will help the nonprofit reach its next stage offering take-out dinner nights, and then a full dine-in experience.
