As a Yoke´s employee myself, I was truly embarassed to read this. You obviously have not been in the guest service industry very long. Sometimes you must have thick skin to deal with rude and irrational customers. Customers do not like change and may express it in ways that seem like a personal attack. One visit to your store will not be enough. Every day, with every customer, make a difference in their shopping experience, no matter how small. Get off your floor mat and personally invite the next person in line to your register rather than yell across the front end. Really, I can go on and on.
Many former Rosauers guests are shopping Yoke´s because they HAVE TO. Your job is to make them WANT TO. What are you doing to make that difference?
