Make More Memories

Holiday Guide 2015

The best thing about the holidays is definitely not the gifts, no matter how much you pine for that one item on your list. Let's move away from material obsessions over more things, and focus our energies on the people. Experiences and special moments with loved ones are the things we're going to look back on years from now anyway. Whether it's gathering around a home-cooked meal that everyone pitched in to prepare, or cozying up under blankets to watch the same classic movie the family watches every Christmas Eve, these cold winter days are made merrier by simply being together. In this year's Holiday Guide, Inlander writers set aside space to share our own cherished holiday traditions, moments we anticipate year after year. So slow down, disconnect and stop stressing about the gifts and money and intangible things. Instead, be together, be joyful and be present.
