May’s Vote, a play by Toni Douglass, presents two diverse women who led the campaign that won the vote for women in Washington in November 1910. The program is being presented in honor of the 2020 centennial of the 19th Amendment and is funded in part by the Washington State Women’s Commission and the Washington State Historical Society through Votes for Women Centennial Grant Program. May’s Vote is produced by Key City Public Theatre in Port Townsend, under a grant from the Votes for Women Centennial Grant Program. It is performed by Denise Winter and Barbara Callander.
