Meet the Neighbors: Hindus

When: Sat., March 25, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. 2017
Price: Free
In observance of the spring festival Holi, or the “festival of colors,” the Spokane Interfaith Council and Spokane Faith & Values are hosting their next Meet the Neighbors event, this month highlighting the region’s Hindu community. The regular community series offers Spokanites an opportunity to learn about the diverse religious communities within the city that they may not otherwise be familiar with. Because there currently isn’t a Hindu temple in Spokane, this gathering is being held at the Southside Senior & Community Center. Saturday’s festivities offer an opportunity to learn about Hinduism as well as experience its culture, worship practices and homemade Indian food.

Sat, March 25 from 11 am-3 pm • Free • Southside Senior & Community Center • 3151 E. 27th • bit.ly/2mXIGhH or spokanefavs.com
