Mowgli: The Jungle Book Ballet

After their live action revival on screen last year, the beloved characters from The Jungle Book are coming back to life, this time on stage for a one-night performance in Spokane this Saturday. Presented by Oregon’s Eugene Ballet Company as part of the troupe’s regional tour of Mowgli: The Jungle Book Ballet, this graceful retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 adventure story collection should delight audiences of all ages, with a backdrop of elaborate, colorful costuming and exquisite choreography. Join favorite characters Mowgli the “man-cub,” Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther as they face their fears and nemeses, Shere Khan the Tiger and Kaa the Snake.
