Reading & Presentation: Diana Morita Cole

Ms. Cole presents "Sideways: Memoirs of a Misfit," the story of Japanese American girl who was born in an Idaho internment camp during World War II. Also includes a screening of the documentary "Kootenay Ghost Town Tour," which explores the displacement and imprisonment of Japanese Canadians, and a dramatic storytelling of “Delivering Telegrams in Minidoka.” In the Library Assembly Hall of Mukogawa as part of the Get Lit! Festival.
