Rhetoric in the Ring IV: Kids vs Courts

In its fourth rendition, Rhetoric in the Ring, an event to raise funds and awareness for the Rogers High School Speech and Debate Club, features Spokane District Court judges stepping into the Howard Street Gym boxing ring to take on two Rogers high senior debaters. RHS student William Lynch debates Spokane District Court Judge Debra Hayes, with student Katelynn Searls debating Spokane District Court Judge Aimee Maurer. Gonzaga University Officer, Phillip Tyler, serves as volunteer bailiff, with Tom Keefe as honorary Trainer. Spokane Superior Court Judge (Ret) Jim Murphy serves his first year as Ringmaster.
