Second Annual Kinetic Fest

“Sculptures must be decorated in a recognizable theme, or unrecognizable, as long as it is glorious,” the rules state. If there’s any better hint of the fun to be had at the 2016 Kinetic Festival in Coeur d’Alene, we couldn’t begin to guess what that might be. The annual event, organized by the Lake City’s tech-learning hub Gizmo Coeur d’Alene, is set to wow spectators with its funky contraptions, set to roll through the park in a parade of human-powered glory. There’s still time to register your vehicle, but definitely make sure to read the rules first. If you didn’t have time to engineer a wild ride this year, head down to get inspiration for next year, and to simply marvel at the community’s creative prowess.
