I'm grateful for this piece. I don't agree ideologically with the WPC but believe in robust discussion from all angles. WPC, though, simply doesn't put up a fair fight when they claim to not be advocating a certain position (which they always are), not have a dog in the fight (which they always do) and say they are without ideology (which they clearly are not). Our community deserves truthful disclosure from an organization that has so much influence and weighs in on so many important issues that affect our citizens. Why run from it WPC? Just say you're a conservative/right wing group backed by people who share your values who is conveying positions on issues in our community. In fact, put it in your name: WA Conservative Policy Center. Wear what you are and do proudly. To try to influence people without informing them you have a bias is weak, lame and often damaging.
