This exhibit focuses on the distinct perspectives of two artists: Laura Truitt and Victoria Brace. Truitt's work wrestles with the conflict between the earth, climate change, land abuse and over consumption, while Brace's work strives to unveil the "character" of "place." Brace received her BFA in paining from the Moscow College of Art in Moscow, Russia. Truitt, an associate professor at Gonzaga, received her MFA in paining from Colorado State. Truitt's painting, Shifting Horizons is the centerpiece of the exhibit. Open Jan. 3 through Feb. 29.
