Sign Language Learning Circle

This five-week Learning Circle provides an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) and is intended for people with little or no prior training in ASL. This includes two parts: enrolling in an online course and meeting up online with other learners to practice what you’ve learned. You’ll watch course videos at your own pace to learn basic ASL vocabulary and grammar as well as a brief introduction to deaf culture and meet online once per week. A librarian facilitates the discussion as a fellow learner. Registration is required. You’ll need to provide email to receive login information.
