The Spokane Chiefs take on the Kootenay Ice this Saturday, looking to redeem themselves after a 2-1 overtime loss in the Ice’s home of Cranbrook, B.C., on Oct. 3. This time, the Chiefs are playing on the comfort of home ice at the Spokane Arena, with a loud, local crowd at their backs. While they’re sitting at a 4-5 record so far this season, the Chiefs have only lost one game by more than a single goal. Although it’s still early, keep an eye on #30, Garret Hughson, who’s currently a top-five goalie in the league, allowing only 17 goals against more than 200 shots.
