The Spokane County commissioners announced last month a series of roundtable discussions to review the county's 2018 budget and to look ahead to 2019.
The meeting will be held on three separate occasions and will each touch on a different segment of services the county offers.
Each of the meetings will be held in the commissioners' hearing room, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The times and topics are:
- On Sept. 18 at 5:30 pm, discussion will focus on property value and taxation.
- On Oct. 9 at 5:30 pm, discussion will focus on parks, utilities and roads.
- On Oct. 16 at 5:50 pm, discussion will focus on public safety and justice.
"This year, we are on a better financial footing thanks to the adjustments that we made over the last year and a growing economy," Commissioner Al French says in a press release.
Each meeting will be recorded and posted on the county's YouTube channel.
