One of the fun aspects of heading to the ballpark for a Spokane Indians game is hearing the songs the players choose to hear over the stadium sound system as they head to the plate to swing the bat. You really capture the diversity of the players’ tastes when you hear, say, outfielder Austin O’Banion bat to Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” first baseman Curtis Terry swing to Outkast’s “Rosa Parks” and several of the team’s Latin players bat to the sounds of Puerto Rican sensation Bad Bunny. The team is fighting for a playoff spot as they enter their final series of the season against the Vancouver Canadians, so these Labor Day weekend games could be your last chance to root, root, root for the home team until next summer.
