Spokane Symphony Classics 3: Tales of Tragedy

Pianist Conrad Tao returns to the Spokane Symphony under the musical direction of Eckart Preu with Saint-Saens' exquisite Piano Concerto No. 2, one of the most challenging of the piano repertoire. That concerto will be book-ended by three stirring tales: Franck's "The Accursed Huntsman," Strauss' "Macbeth" and "Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks." Oct. 21 at 8 pm and Oct. 22 at 3 pm.
