Spokane Valley Cycle Celebration

Check your brakes and get ready to experience Spokane Valley from behind the handlebars in this weekend’s lead-up event to September’s Valleyfest celebration. Choose between three routes: the 50-mile “Hills Around the Valley,” 25-mile “Adventure Ride” and 10-mile “Family Friendly Ride.” All routes are patrolled by first-aid teams and several comfort stations provide toilets, food and water, but make sure to save some room for David’s Pizza by the slice ($3) in Mirabeau Meadows Park once you’re done pedaling. Thanks to community volunteers, the registration fees for this 2nd annual event are kept low, and all proceeds go directly to the costs of the ride, and the finishers’ polyester riding T-shirt.
