Spoken Words: Rhiannon McGavin + Afaria McKinney

The internationally-selling and award-winning poet from LA has performed original poetry podcasts, NPR, and at multiple venues across the nation. McGavin is a 2016 YoungArts Finalist in Writing for Spoken Word, and is the current Los Angeles Youth Poet Laureate. Her book of poems, BRANCHES, was published in June and will be available for purchase at the event. McGavin will be opened by Spokane spoken word poet Afaria McKinney aka AJ.
