The Diary of Anne Frank

In July 1942, as Nazi persecution of Jews in occupied Amsterdam escalated, 13-year-old Anne Frank and her family went into hiding in a secret annex. Thanks to the diary she wrote about everyday life, her family and her aspirations, hers is one of the best-known stories of Holocaust. The stage adaptation, which debuted on Broadway in 1955 just three years after the book was published in English, is being produced by North Idaho College for the second time, with Tracey Vaughan, who played the role of Anne Frank 20 years ago, as the director.
