The Mountain Goats and Lydia Loveless live at Spokane's Bing Crosby Theater

Indie-rock favorites The Mountain Goats visited Spokane for the first time Sunday night, bringing Lydia Loveless along as the opening act and offering Lilac City music fans a nice alternative to Pig Out in the Park and other steamy, outdoor Labor Day weekend activities. Of course, it was pretty steamy inside the Bing Crosby Theater, too, thanks to a packed house and some great music.
