The Publishing Journey of Lewis and Clark’s Journals
When: Tuesdays-Saturdays. Continues through July 29 2017
During their 1804-1806 expedition, Lewis and Clark kept detailed notes and diaries. Publishing those journals was another lengthy endeavor, and it took years for Americans to truly understand what they had accomplished. This exhibit examines many different editions of the journals and maps from the Corps of Discovery which are held in the Northwest Room. Through July 29, open Tue-Sat from 10 am-6 pm (until 8 pm on Tuesday).
