Northwest Opera’s seventh season opens with the love story of Polly Peachum, daughter of the “King of the Beggars,” and “Mack the Knife” Macheath, the “biggest criminal in London” The timely, sordid slice of London slum life satirizes bourgeois society, enhanced by plaintive, edgy, opera-meets-music hall melodies. Nov. 10-11 at 7:30 pm, Nov. 12 at 2 pm.
