In 2005, Moscow artist Rachael Eastman created her first tool-related art. It was titled “Girls who Wear Makeup can also Play with Tools.” She continues to this day to created tool related art. Using watercolor as a medium proved to be excellent for creating the appearance of the wear and tear that a tool sustains. Rachael mimics the rust-like textures using the wet-on-wet process. Capturing a tool as it exists. On display Feb. 4-28; open Thu-Sun from 10 am-4 pm.
