Valleyfest 2014

When: Fri., Sept. 19, 7:30 p.m., Sat., Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun., Sept. 21, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 2014

The city of Spokane Valley's annual community tradition since 1990 celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year. The 3-day event includes live, family entertainment and recognition for area youth for their talents. The "Hearts of Gold" parade kicks off Valleyfest Friday (7:30pm). The festival continues through Sunday with booths and vendors; other events include a pancake breakfast, balloons over Valleyfest, a car show, recreational events (triathlon, 5k/10k Run for a Cause, Centennial Bike ride), responsible dog days and more. Sept. 19-21; Fri at 7:30 pm, Sat from 10 am-6 pm, Sun from 11 am-4 pm.
