Visualizing Science

Science and art combine for the latest exhibit to fill the walls of the University of Idaho’s Prichard Art Gallery. Resulting from a nine-month collaboration between faculty in science, art and design, the project Visualizing Science reveals “a deep kinship inherent in seemingly disparate disciplines.” See art inspired by forest fire ecology, mathematical models of insect swarms, lab-created bacteriophages, and the visualization of polynomial equation plot fields. A series of lectures by the exhibit’s contributing teams accompanies the show, with events on March 21 and 28 from 12:30-1:30 pm.

Through April 15; gallery open Tue-Sat, 10 am-8 pm and Sun, 10 am-6 pm • Free and open to the public • Prichard Art Gallery • 414 S. Main St., Moscow • prichardart.org
