Larisa Nazar says has trained and worked as a baker in her native Ukraine, bringing favorites like meringue cake and Praga (Prague) cake with her when she emigrated. She serves those and more Slavic baked goods in her new cafe, as well as savory dishes like cabbage rolls, goulash, and melt-in-your-mouth dumplings called pelmeni.
