Re: “To Kill the Black Snake

Personally, being of native american descent, do we as people not follow the decrees and decisions of our chiefs? Especially those that were made with the input of our council of elders along with the experiences and wisdom of our ancestors. Once our chief has decided and spoken it becomes the law of the land for all to follow. Many many years ago, after counseling with the elders and the spirits of our ancestors, we had a chief announcing the decision to allow the original pipeline access through our land. What's not being said or reported is the fact that incorporated within the original agreement is a clause which included the original pipeline replacement. So it is sad for me to realize that we as a people have become like so many other societies, a society whereby we no longer follow the law set by our chiefs, elders, and the spirits of our ancestors.-PEACE.....
