Witness for Peace: Jennifer Avila

Join Honduran journalist, artist, and documentary filmmaker Jennifer Ávila, co-founder of Contra Corriente, a multimedia, youth and women-led media platform, for her Witness for Peace Tour, "The Silencing of Dissent: How reedom of the Press is Threatened in Honduras." Ms. Ávila has been a critical player in the resistance to the illegal, U.S.-supported re-election of President Juan Orlando Hernández in 2017 and the crimes against humanity committed by his regime in the wake of the election.
