This production was conceived by Spokane-based actor and African drummer David Casteal and playwright Bryan Harnetiaux (The Civic’s Playwright-in-Residence), and has been performed across the northwest to packed houses and standing ovations. It returns for two nights in commemoration of Black History Month. Feb. 27 at 3 and 7:30 pm, Feb. 28 at 2 pm.
