One-Year Warranty & r &
Whoo, boy, did we make some mistakes in our Annual Manual. And since the next edition won't come out until, well, next year (it's an Annual), and since we do a lot of fact-checking by hand (it's a Manual), we came to believe that Buzz Bin might be best for bettering our boo-boos. Herewith, our apologies and some facts set right.
The correct phone number for the Mustard Seed Asian Caf & eacute; at NorthTown Mall (p. 10) is 483-1500.
The 7th Rail was incorrectly categorized in the Food & amp; Restaurants section under Buffets (p. 10); it should have been listed in the Nightlife section under Bars (p. 79).
The Rustler's Roost listing (p. 28) should have been omitted; the listing for the Rustler's Roost in Hayden, Idaho (p. 31) is, however, correct.
Under "Trends in Food" (p. 30), we managed to misspell the names of both a business and its owner. Stefanie Mehaffey operates Stefanie's Isn't It Sweet!, 2702 W. Northwest Blvd. (325-0500). We also neglected to mention Stefanie's in the Bakery listings (p. 10). Sorry, Stefanie!
Elkin's Resort, Grandview Resort, and Hill's Resort were all miscategorized among Sandpoint restaurants (p. 34). They should have been listed under Fine Dining for Priest Lake & amp; Priest River (p. 32).
We did Mountain Goat Outfitters a double disservice (p. 47). First, under "Rock Climbing, Backpacking and Mountaineering," we should have said that they feature new merchandise, with a small upstairs section for used gear. Second, under "Kayaking, Canoeing, Rowing," the sixth item -- the second one entitled "Mountain Gear" -- should have been listed as "Mountain Goat."
An incorrect title was attributed to a cycling event (p. 52); the correct title is, simply, the Tour des Lacs.
The correct dates for the next Hoopfest (p. 60) are June 30-July 1, 2007.
You can't smoke at the Brickwall Comedy Club, as we incorrectly reported (p. 72). But you can still "drink, chortle and guffaw" there.
The listings for the Season Ticket (p. 72 and p. 79) should have been omitted.
Under Galleries (p. 82), we should have included Artisians' Wares, 1009 W. First Ave. (456-6030)
The Downtown Crossing Bar & amp; Grill, 206 N. First Ave., Sandpoint, Idaho (208-265-5080) should have been listed under Bars & amp; Clubs (p. 77).
Downtown Crossing, which offers live entertainment four nights a week, is primarily a bar, live-music venue and cocktail lounge. It should not have been listed on p. 34.
A more accurate description of the Latin American cuisine at Cafe Carambola (p. 91) is that their lunches feature specialties from Mexico, El Salvador and Cuba.
Gunfight at the O.K. Corral should not have been listed as one of Ellen Travolta's favorite movies (p. 91); she prefers Doc Hollywood, the 1991 comedy starring Michael J. Fox.
The name of a local winemaker was incorrectly spelled in the Index of Advertisers (p. 118); the correct name is Grande Ronde.
Whew! If you missed out on your copy of the Annual Manual (and they did go quick), you can always get one --free -- at any Rocket Bakery/Market or at Inlander HQ, 1020 W. Riverside Ave.
