Guardians Foundation cries foul on loss of city contract
The Guardians Foundation, which operated emergency warming shelter space last winter, claims it may have lost a contract with the city this winter after Julie Garcia of Jewels Helping Hands (which won the contract) claimed she'd seen a Guardians employee engaging in sexual behavior with homeless women, but later told police she hadn't actually witnessed that, the Spokesman-Review reports.
