What a Gas -- What will we find out next? We now know that President Bush has a secret deal with the Saudis to manipulate gas prices thereby influencing the November elections. If he can make deals with OPEC nations to lower gas prices, why isn't the President doing it now, while Americans struggle to afford record prices at the pump, instead of using that influence to manipulate the election? It's time for President Bush to stop stonewalling and come clean about his relationship with the Saudi royal family and their plan to manipulate the elections. Should we put up with four more years of this kind of secrecy and deceit from our administration, or is it time to make a major change?

Will We Follow? -- We should recognize George W. Bush for his role as a leader in the war against terror. He has led us to lose hundreds of brave soldiers because of non-existent WMDs. He has led us by embracing oppressive regimes as friends, like Saudi Arabia and the greatest of all nuclear proliferators, Pakistan. He has led us to become isolated from our traditional allies, viewed by the rest of the world as a rogue cowboy. He has led us to accept the Patriot Act and forfeit our rights - although few, if any, terrorists have been successfully convicted as a result of the Patriot Act, while its use has gradually widened beyond prosecution of terrorism. He has governed while much of Afghanistan has reverted to Taliban rule. His leadership has led to a groundswell in recruitment in Al Qaeda and other jihadist groups. Under his watch, our nation has gone from prosperity to historic trade and budget deficits, weakening our nation.
