Motopony cancels upcoming Bartlett show; local singer-songwriter showcase takes its spot

Our mistake.

We profiled the Seattle band Motopony in this week's music section, and the article went to print following their announcement that they were canceling all upcoming tour dates. We should have caught it, and we didn't.
The abrupt cancellations appear to be due to an accusation of sexual assault against a former member of Motopony, which singer-songwriter Daniel Blue acknowledged on the band's social media accounts; you can read about it on the band's Facebook.

In the meantime, their Saturday slot has now been filled with a solid lineup of local singer-songwriters: Lucas Brookbank Brown, Gabriella Rose, Daniel Moses Botkin (originally slated to open for Motopony) and Ruthie Hendrickson.

Tickets are just $6, and you can buy them here.
