Spokane, prepare yourself for a forecast of blood: Metal legends Slayer are set to play the Arena on Nov. 24, on what will be the final leg of their farewell tour. It appears this will be the band's first Inland Northwest gig since back in 2009, when they performed at the Knitting Factory.

Tickets for their upcoming Arena show will run from $39.50 to $89.50, and they go on sale Friday morning through TicketsWest.

Along with bands like Metallica and Megadeth, Slayer influenced an entire generation of shredders, and their often controversial lyrics and album art kept them relevant throughout the decades. And if their presence at the Arena isn't enough to pique your interest, they'll be backed by a pretty incredible all-star lineup — prog-metal faves Primus, industrial pioneers Ministry and former Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo's new band the Illegals.
