Hump Day: Happy hours for tonight

Each Wednesday on Bloglander, we'll give you a taste of happy hours going on at bars around town that night. (Read previous posts.)

For our second week dishing out a taste of happy hours we are showcasing bars located in Downtown Spokane, the northside, Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene that are offering food and drink specials for today’s hump day.

The next full moon isn’t until Sept. 23. However, you can get yourself a Blue Moon pint at Fizzie Mulligan’s from 10 pm-midnight tonight for $2. Happy Hour is from now until 6 pm and includes half price appetizers and $1.50 pints of Budlight.

Coeur d’Alene’s Iron Horse offers two for one drinks from 5-9 pm.

Spokane Valley winos can rejoice as a local art and wine tasting social will ensue this evening at Max at Mirabeau. Tastings come from the Columbia Valley and include a viognier from 08 ($8.90, per glass/ $33.66, bottle), an '08 chardonnay ($7.50, per glass/ $28, per bottle), a Willard Family cabernet '01 ($12, per glass/ $46, per bottle) and a merlot '07 ($10, per glass/ $38, per bottle). Happy Hour is from now until 6 pm and includes half price appetizers and drafts.

At Nyne domestic drafts will go for $2.50, micro brew drafts for $3.50 and wells for $3. Appetizer specials include chips and salsa for $3, sliders and chips for $4 and a flat bread platter for $6. Happy Hour is from now until 7 pm.

At Dempsey’s, until 7 pm everything is 50 cents to a dollar off.
