It HAD to be you. Corner of Appleway and Farr Rd. A recent Saturday.
Assisting a woman. Accident? It appeared her leg was injured. Upon closer
inspection, indeed. Severely bleeding. You, the clear head in confusion.
Taking your belt off? "WOW!...an then.."Whoa!" I couldn't believe it, but
then, it was something you probably didn't even think twice about. You'd
say you were in the right place at the right time. I say that you, making
the decision to do the right thing in chaos, quite probably saved the woman
from bleeding to death before EMS arrived. I didn't see your US Marine
uniform, which you proudly wear, nor your Super Man cape about which I will
always wonder ( 2 kids from a burning house?), but it HAD to be you. Your
angel wings unfurled a bit, under your shirt, while you were comforting
that lady in distress. There is NO mistaking you when those appear. Even on
a dark, scary night. Blessings and safety to you and yours. I hope that
woman finds you when she can move about. Grateful she must be. To the crew
that arrived, later. The point man was ON!! Didn't miss a beat.
