I have often complained that police officers should remember the phrase.
Cheers to the female police officer who offered me a ride while I was
walking on a cold, rainy, dark night in North Spokane County after getting
a flat tire. You are a wonderful example of the Serve and Protect motto!
You were off shift but still cared enough to stop and offer assistance. It
was my first and hopefully last ride in a patrol car. Thanks for being so
friendly and helpful!
