Over Labor Day weekend, Spokane rallied to support native son Steve Gleason, a former NFL football player who has been stricken with ALS and has now devoted his life to fight against the disease.
The event, Gleason Gras West, raised more than $25,000 for Team Gleason, according to event organizer John Blakesley.
Here's a downright tear-jerking video from the weekend.
