Saturday at 10:30, I'm at Houston and Cincinnati ready to cross the street.
A blue SUV slows to a stop which I nod over because my hands were full. The
woman driving scowls at me while making a comment I couldn't hear through
her closed window, and her boy (who's about 10) raises his hands and gives
the "what are you? Stupid?" Gesture as they pass. To the kid: Making
insulting gestures to people bigger than you is never a good idea (at any
age). To the Mother: Shame on you for teaching and condoning this behavior.
The next guy may not be so passive.
