Monday, November 5th, 9 pm jogging on a treadmill. You: dark hair, white
t-shirt red shorts with a white stripe. Me: One of three giggling swimmers
below with the big eyes, a dark bun, and purple swimsuit. Though our
meeting was brief, I believe that it was no accident. With each step of
your foot, came a subsequent skip in my heart beat. When we made eye
contact, exchanged gleeful grins, and looked away not one, not two, but a
whole of approximately NINE times (not that I was counting), I knew that
what we had was a genuine love connection. And don't sweat the fact that
you had to take a brief break from your excruciating exercise to catch your
breath. I could barely keep my head above water, it was spinning so fast!
Anyway, after approximately two minutes of walking, you stepped it up once
again for a total of five more minutes, during which I loved our
ever-increasing glances. Alas, all good things must come to an end, and
soon it was time for you to walk away. I tried to play it cool, but could
not help myself as my hand eagerly shot into the air for one last wave
goodbye. Your reaction was heart-melting, and the kiss you blew me was one
that I will always treasure. One question: Why you no swim with us? Respond
to ME at ymcapoolgirl1@yahoo.com. See you next Monday night, same time,
same place?
